The Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA) Review Committee is scheduled to hold six virtual public meetings on January 31, 2022; February 14, 2022; February 28, 2022; March 10, 2022; March 15, 2022; and March 21, 2022. All meetings will be held from 3:00 PM until approximately 6:00 PM Eastern Time. The agenda for each meeting may include a report from the National NAGPRA Program; the discussion of the Review Committee Report to
Congress; subcommittee reports and discussion; and other topics related to the Committee’s responsibilities. In addition, the agenda may include requests to the Committee for a recommendation to the Secretary of the Interior that an agreed-upon disposition of Native American human remains proceed.
