IMLS Requests Input on Strategic Plan

The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) is soliciting stakeholder feedback on how it can carry out its statutory responsibility to ensure the availability of museum, library, and information services adequate to meet the essential information, education, research, economic, cultural, and civic needs of the people of the United States. IMLS is developing a five-year strategic plan for Fiscal Years 2022-2026, which will be published in February 2022 after review and approval by the Office of Management and Budget.  The Request for Information (RFI) is intended to gather broad public input to assist IMLS in the strategic planning process and to ensure that stakeholders are given an opportunity to comment on its strategic goals.  Comments must be submitted on or before Friday, August 6, 2021.
